The SBS is typically used in a near-shore or inland environment for on water recovery operations, but may also be used as a staging site for near to shore booming operations, decontamination processes or storage for other on water skimming assets. The non-self propelled unit is propelled through the water by a 26' or 28' shallow water push boat.
