The Regional Safety, Environmental, Health and Security Administrator is responsible for implementation of comprehensive safety, environmental, health and security compliance programs inclusive of all operations and in strict compliance with federal, state and local regulations and corporate policies, doctrines and procedures. This position works closely with the Safety, Environmental, Health and Security Manager on steady state issues and on oil spills. In the event of an oil spill, the Regional Safety, Environmental, Health and Security Administrator will be the responsible safety, environmental, health and security compliance supervisor for MSRC personnel and resources in their corresponding region. This position must maintain a positive state of readiness by wearing a pager 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Qualifications include five to seven years of experience in oil spill activities and/or relevant training, safety, health and environmental compliance positions. A Bachelor's degree and certified safety credentials are highly desirable. Must be available for travel within the assigned geographical areas of the Eastern Region and elsewhere. Safe and good business practices are integral. Physical requirements as prescribed by the Company.

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Accounts Payable Accountant and overseeing the entire Accounts Payable function, and other accounting duties and projects as assigned.  This position is responsible for the payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers; maintains vendor records and researches vendor inquiries.  The Accounts Payable Supervisor is also responsible for preparation of 1099s at year-end.

Qualifications include three years of Accounts Payable experience and at least one year of supervisory experience.  A bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.  Previous experience with Great Plains software is a plus.  Individual must be extremely detail-oriented, have superior communication skills and spreadsheet proficiency.

The Information Systems Specialist installs, operates, and maintains computer systems and data networks.  Support provided by the Specialist includes systems architecture and planning, programming and database support, network administration, and end user support for primarily Macintosh computers.  Provides secondary telephone system and radio and satellite transmission equipment support.  Position requirements include maintaining a readiness position in accordance with MSRC's policies, and must be available to travel.  Qualified candidates must have specialized experience or training in programming or infrastructure support, and a minimum of two years of experience with Macintosh Operating Systems. The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of the Benefits and Payroll functions. Position is responsible for administering payroll and benefits policies and procedures; managing periodic payroll and benefit reporting, and audits, and compiling, analyzing, and reviewing Company benefit and payroll reports and statistics. Position has responsibility for the oversight of HRIS and performs systems administration functions and verifies data integrity. Coordinates special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager in the Herndon, Virginia corporate office and supervises 2 employees in Payroll and Benefits.

Qualifications include a bachelor¹s degree, and 6+ years generalist HR and payroll experience. Past supervisory experience is desired but not required. Previous HRIS systems administration and experience with ADP PC Payroll for Windows and ADP HR Perspective software is desired. Individual must have superior communication skills and be extremely detail-oriented. The Response Supervisor is responsible for providing effective and efficient spill response services using all available resources and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position is accountable for the operations, maintenance, communications, contractor support, training and readiness of response equipment within the Supervisor's geographical areas of responsibility.  In order to achieve these goals, the Supervisor maintains awareness of situations that affect MSRC's ability to respond quickly as necessary or appropriate; is familiar with the geographic areas and the contractors within these areas; and, maintains a positive state of readiness by being available to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year anywhere.  

Qualifications include experience in oil spill management, leadership and effective supervision, seamanship (deck seamanship, boat-handling, marine maintenance), and a mechanical aptitude.  Must have effective problem solving, communications and computer skills. A high school diploma is required along with a valid driver's license.  A marine document or license is desirable.  Must be available for travel within the assigned geographical areas and elsewhere.  Safe and good business practices are integral.  Physical requirements as prescribed by the Company.
