Description

The DOP-250 Skimmer is virtually the same equipment package as the DOP-250 pump system. The additional components are the rigid suction hose, an additional 10" to 6" bell reducer for the skimming head, if the skimming head is not attached directly to the pump, and the DOP-250 Skimmer Easy Flow Weir Lip Adaptor.

Handling/Operation

The DOP-250 Skimmer Easy Flow Weir Lip Adaptor is attached to a DOP-250 pump and then positioned in the oil so that the weir on top of the skimmer is at the oil/water interface. The weir is self adjusting to allow the flow of oil/water to enter the skimmer according to the pump speed. The operation of the DOP-250 Skimmer is the same as operation of the DOP-250 Pump.

This skimmer is capable of being employed from a VOSS, SWB or onshore.
